Area: 110 sqm

For this project, Abbott envisioned a flexible Training – Breakout Space, rather than a conventional office. The space is designed to support learning, sharing, connection, and moments of rest throughout the day, enhancing overall workplace experience.
Building on extensive experience delivering multiple design & build projects for Abbott, IDArchitects approached the space with a deep understanding of the brand’s spirit, while introducing a more youthful and approachable expression.
The key design language is based on soft curves inspired by the Abbott logo, applied throughout the ceiling design, pantry area, and spatial layout. This creates a smooth and continuous flow, reflecting Abbott’s core values of care and connection.
A white and blue base palette, aligned with Abbott’s brand identity, sets a calm and comfortable tone. Warm wood materials and subtle orange accents are thoughtfully introduced to add warmth and vibrancy, while maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic.
Functional zones are seamlessly connected, centering around the project’s main activities — from the welcoming green logo wall and central pantry to training and collaboration areas, charge stations, and caring rooms. This layout ensures accessibility, flexibility, and adaptability throughout the day.
A defining highlight of the design is the large green wall near the main entrance, creating an immediate sense of relaxation and welcome. The expanded pantry connects directly to the elevator lobby, becoming a shared social hub. The space also maximizes views toward the Saigon River and Ba Son Bridge, enhancing openness and connection to the surrounding urban context.
Overall, the Abbott Training – Breakout Space delivers a modern, energetic, and human-centric environment, clearly reflecting Abbott’s commitment to creating workplaces where people are always at the center.
